Meet the founder

All Samsa guitars are designed and handmade, from start to finish, by Tim Ward.

A guitarist for over 30 years, my route into building came first from tinkering, then learning to set up, repair and modify my own instruments. Already possessing a background in design I studied and developed my luthier hand building skills, crafting and perfecting my own uniquely designed guitars.

I am passionate about getting every aspect of my instruments just right, balancing design, feel and function so they play flawlessly and look beautiful.
